Hello there, and hope all's well with you.
It's been a really busy week here. I've been participating in the "Trailing Florals", challenge being run over at HistoryRepeating.
Whilst am making absolutely *no* claim to being able to create patterns in any historical style, it was fascinating to see someone who can do such a thing (Barbel Dressler) at work. It was also massive fun having a go at translating that into my own (very sketchy, soooo much more whimsical) style.
The gif above is moving (or should be!), and shows the pattern in action over at Redbubble, if you're in the mood for some bright joy and maximalism.
To get a better idea of how this my trailing floral pattern (based on happy memories of bougainvillea on sunny childhood holidays) turned out, this static snap shows it on fabric at Zazzle...
I have to go now to check that that actually happens:-) .
