Hello there, and hope life is treating you well.

Am posting this to reassure you that all's well, and nothing bad has happened, despite radio silence from here for a couple of weeks.

What's been happening?

In fact, quite the reverse, as we've been away on holiday, to Exmoor. There was even some sun (and a random herd of wild goats)...

Image is a snap from the car of a large herd of wild goats, in a deserted rocky valley.

(Taking it from the car seemed like
the best way to leave them undisturbed).

Sketches to follow (probably when there's less to draw, illustrate and talk about around these parts).

In the meantime, despite the lovely holiday, this week, for some reason, in the week of clothes-washing and re-kiltering that always seems to follow a break of any length, I've been fascinated by...My mother-in-law's tomatoes.

Why tomatoes, for goodness sake?

Green-house grown and as different from their supermarket counterparts as they could possibly be, these beauties  have ripened up better than I could have imagined, to a range of fascinating colours that complements their higgeldy-piggeldy shapes and sizes.

Though I'm going to have to disappoint both her and myself on the chutney front (she was right: I'd need six times more for that :-)) they'll be lovely to cook with at the weekend.

In other news...

Though have not been back long, can tell you that the autumn berries from the previous post have made it into a printable background in my Craftsuprint shop, and a project I'd love to tell you about (and will soon) but can't yet.

In the meantime, here's smaller and lower-res peek at the berries in action:

And with that, I'd better leave you, and get on with that mysterious new project...

As ever, thanks so much for being here, and for reading down this far.

More soon.
